Trout Fishing in America, August 12–13

Back by popular demand! In their nearly three decades of performing together, witty guitar-and-bass duo Trout Fishing in America have garnered multiple Parents Choice Gold Awards and American Library Awards. Perfectly paired musicians Keith Grimwood (standing 5'1") and Ezra Idlet (standing 6'9"), blend folk and pop with reggae, Latin, blues, jazz, and classical to tell imaginative and heartfelt stories about the delights and dilemmas of growing up. This charismatic Grammy-nominated duo will engage you and your kids from the first note to the final encore. It's "music for people who take their fun seriously."

Ralph's World, August 19–20

Once you've set foot on Ralph's World, you may never want to leave. Chicago indie rocker Ralph Covert, who's been writing songs since the age of eight, entrances kids and adults alike with his effortless charm and impeccable musicianship on the guitar and mandolin. Covert's high energy and super-melodic approach to children's music have earned him raves from around the country, landed him at Disney Sound, and drawn comparisons to the stylings and charm of Paul McCartney. Sing and dance along with Covert and his band, Ralph's World, as they unleash upbeat but sucrose-free tales of a kid's life starring animals and astronauts, parents and pie slices.
