The galleries will be open throughout the night, so bring your chums because you are cordially invited to play musical chairs in a new video installation where viewers become part of the art. Be sure not to miss Please Be Seated: A Video Installation by Nicole Cohen, currently on view. And stop by the Center for Photographs for the final weeks of Recent History: Photographs by Luc Delahaye and Edward Weston: Enduring Vision.

October 26, 2007: Benevento/Russo Duo and Something for Rockets
They're an indie-rock band that jams and a jazz combo that rocks. Hailing from Brooklyn, this musical hybrid isn't your typical rock band—there is no guitarist, no bassist, and you can sing along even though there are no words. Their music adopts a wide array of instruments whose sound is texturally rich and experimental and performed effortlessly and charismatically. They are the Benevento/Russo Duo, and as music critic David Lynch from Austin Chronicle puts it, "Like all good groups, the only real category that Benevento/Russo Duo fit neatly into is their own."

Opening the night is LA's own Something for Rockets, who have a reputation for romancing their audience with their hypnotic dance beats, playfully dark melodies, and poignant lyrics. Their live shows are electric and always turn into woo-hoo dance parties.

Please note that artists are subject to change without notice.
