Using the exhibition Roman Mosaics Across the Empire as inspiration, discover the process of mosaic making in antiquity by studying the layers of stratigraphy from foundation to tesserae. Create a plan for a mosaic by drawing preliminary sketches, just like an ancient artist would. Supplies are provided, and all skill levels are welcome. This is a free program.
