Jean Cocteau's 1950 update represents the legendary director at the height of his powers, with peerless visual poetry and dreamlike storytelling. Marcel Camus's award-winning Black Orpheus (1959) brings the ancient Greek myth to the madness of Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. Tickets $7.
