Definition:
A chronological sequence of known exhibitions that included the item.

Discussion:
The following information about each exhibition may be included in this free-text note: the institution that organized it; venue(s), geographic location, and date of exhibition; title of exhibition; notes.

If an exhibition catalogue was published, the citation should be included in Short Citation (see Bibliographic References, one of the top level categories in Groups/Items) and in Bibliographic Sources.


Example:


Exhibited: Royal Academy, London, 1854, no. 1180, ["Gardener's Cottage at Laverstoke House for Melville Portal Esq.
