Margo Leavin Gallery Archive
From 1970 to 2013, Margo Leavin Gallery operated as one of Los Angeles's foremost art venues, helping to establish the careers of artists like John Baldessari and Claes Oldenburg. This comprehensive archive's 200 linear feet of materials contains correspondence and artist and exhibition files, such as documentation related to Leavin's milestone 1971 Claes Oldenburg show, for which she produced Oldenburg's first catalogue raisonné.

Elizabeth Roth Research Papers
Finding Aid
Born and raised in Switzerland, Elizabeth E. Roth served as Keeper of Prints and Rare Books at the New York Public Library from 1944 until her retirement in 1981. The materials in this archive—such as card catalogs, correspondence, and notebooks—relate to Roth's unpublished bibliography of festival books, particularly festivals held between the years of 1484 to 1918 in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United States.

This conference considered how Nahua contributors to the Florentine Codex, along with their Spanish interpreter, Fray Bernardino de Sahagún, used images and alphabetic texts to represent themselves and their cultures to mixed audiences in Mexico and Europe during the late 16th century.
