LOS ANGELES—The J. Paul Getty Trust recently appointed Nancy Ogata to the position of Controller, with responsibility for financial and management reporting, budgeting, payroll, and general accounting. Nancy has more than 20 years’ experience in finance and accounting, most recently as assistant controller at EarthTech in Long Beach, where she worked closely with internal and external auditors, initiated financial controls, and insured consistent reporting. Prior to that she served at CB Richard Ellis, Transamerica, and Times Mirror. A resident of the South Bay, she earned an MBA at USC and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant.
“Nancy brings a wealth of experience to this position,” says Jim Williams, vice president and chief investment officer at the Getty. “We’re delighed to bring her skills to our team.”
