A two-year residential post-doctoral grant is being offered as part of the Getty Research Institute's Harald Szeemann research project. The Harald Szeemann Archive and Library, acquired by the GRI in 2011, contains a comprehensive record of Szeemann's correspondence with major artists, curators, and scholars from the late 1950s until his death in 2005, as well as significant collections of material from the early 20th century. We invite scholars interested in any aspect of Szeemann's career and archive to apply for this position, which will also contribute to the organization of a major conference and publication about Szeemann and his impact.
