David Ornette Cherry

He's grounded in jazz but explores sounds as diverse as hard rock and Afrofunk. Master of keyboards, wood flute, and melodica, David Ornette Cherry combines textured rhythms with hypnotizing harmonies and fluid vocals to create "a universal language emphasizing a positive state of mind."

Angels of the East

Passionate and full of surprises, L.A. singers Eleni Mandell and Becky Stark are complementary opposites with angelic voices that are hot and cold, dark and light, life-affirming and self-doubting. They join forces for an evening of harmonious folk, pop, and country with an indie-rock core.
