Featuring masterpieces from 400 years of printmaking, this exhibition showcases the range and quality of the prints that the Getty Research Institute acquires. See a first edition of Piranesi's Prisons, beautifully hand-painted designs for Mozart's operas, and a rare portfolio of prints by Bauhaus masters. Also on view are several masterful woodcuts by Albrecht Dürer, including a complete suite of his Life of the Virgin.
