Eleven internationally renowned artists have created art-making activities for use in your classrooms. Each activity is presented as a free, downloadable PDF that includes an art-making prompt, an artist biography, and images of the artist and his or her works of art.

Find Lessons

Explore the history of the photojournalistic essay in the exhibition Engaged Observers: Documentary Photography since the Sixties.

Adapt the lesson "Environmental Impact" to discuss the ways that political and environmental messages can be told through photographs. High school students may also research and write a paper about an environmental issue.
