Programs for Teachers

Learn about the intersections of art and science with Getty conservator Arlen Heginbotham, who will explain the conservation and scholarship around this 16th-century French cabinet in the Museum's collection. Education specialist Veronica Alvarez will demonstrate the lesson Methods of Mystery, which explores how the scientific method was used to establish the age of a 16th-century cabinet.

This workshop for K-12th grade teachers is designed for small group discussion, and provides classroom connections to our Art & Science curriculum.

Open to 20 participants. Sign up today by calling (310) 440-7322.
