Squad LifeBy Carlos Lopez Hello, my name is Carlos Lopez and I am currently attending Animo Venice Charter High School. The cyanotype was blue and I chose orange color pencil because they are good contrast colors. The white spots were made from twigs and leaves that were brought to us from the museum. I also used a pendant that made a pattern on the paper. I also drew stick figures and a letter 'M' and spelled out 'Squad Life.' What 'Squad Life' means to me is that you always have a certain group of friends that always have your back and you have theirs as well. I put the 'M' on a white spot because the M represents the first letter of my girlfriend's name and she filled up a spot in my life. There is no real pattern to the piece which means that my friends and girlfriend are unique.
