Didactic Case Study
The first component was focused on publication of a didactic case study examining ways to deal with values, significance, and stakeholders in the management of Jarash archaeological site in Jordan. This case study was produced through a collaborative project of the Getty Conservation Institute and the Jordanian Department of Antiquities.
The publication is a resource for heritage educators and students learning to use a values-based process for management decision making and for forming consensus building strategies.
A PDF edition of the case study is available through the GCI website. Print editions of the case study are available in limited supply and may be obtained by teachers by contacting the GCI, or may be purchased in a print-on-demand format through online vendor Lulu.com.
