The system developers will provide ongoing system monitoring and maintenance support for a period of two years following system deployment. This will include review of system performance, technical issue resolution, and additional training if necessary.

The intent of the system monitoring and maintenance period is to provide DoA system administrators with access to reliable technical experts during the transition period, who can assist them as they become familiar with the day-to-day system monitoring and maintenance tasks.

System monitoring support primarily will be provided remotely, with access to the system at the DoA via a VPN (virtual private network) connection. This will allow development staff to review and resolve errors in all system components. The VPN connection will also offer an opportunity to periodically review the state of the system, provide basic database administration support (if required), and ensure that appropriate data back-ups are functioning as expected. It will also include periodic on-site system support from local technicians, estimated at one day per month during this two-year period.
