Note: Commissioned installation featuring a monumental sphinx-like creature with African features, and made from blocks coated in white sugar. The sculpture wears a kerchief, symbolizing the labor of women of African heritage; the rear is a vulva. The main sculpture is surrounded by 15 smaller youth made from dark brown hard candy or resin of similar color. On view in 2014 in the former Domino Sugar Factory.
