Note: Four portraits and fiifty-seven topographic and architectural views depicting Felice Beato's travels through India documenting the aftermath of the 1857 uprising of the Indian army. He took photographs of the sites associated with this event in addition to photographing significant monuments from cities he visited. Some with pencil captions on mounts and many with ink captions on paper inserts.
