Note: The body of this vase is decorated with an assembly of gods, goddesses and heroes who have gathered for the departure of Triptolemos, the Eleusian hero who is seated in a winged chariot between Demeter and Kore. Many of the figures are identified by inscription, including a personification of Eleusis.
