Grave Stele of Mynnia (stele; Unknown Greek (Attic) (Greek (Attic) Artist); about 370 BCE; J. Paul Getty Museum at the Getty Villa (Malibu, Los Angeles...; 71.AA.121)
Note: Stele probably originally with a slightly rounded pediment and a shallow figural panel containing three figures. Mynnia, a young woman, stands before her mother, Euphrosyne, who sits on a stool at the left of the composition. The two women shake hands while between them the younger sister of Mynnia, Artemisias, kneels and stretches out her right arm toward her mother in a placating gesture.
