Note: The Temple of the Earth is located in the northern part of central Beijing, just north of Yonghe Temple. It is the second largest of the four Temples of Beijing, others dedicated to Heaven (the largest), Sun, and Moon. It was attended by Ming and Qing emperors for annual summer solstice rituals and to worship the god of Earth.
