Note: Former country home, detached five-bay (originally three-bay), two stories over half-basement, and porch with four cast-iron Doric columns and molded cornice. The house was originally built ca. 1725 by Richard Edgeworth and may have incorporated an earlier structure constructed by his father Francis Edgeworth, ca. 1695.The house's complicated form and plan result from multiple historic alterations, most under the direction of Richard Lovell Edgeworth during the late-18th and early-19th centuries. The house eventually left the Edgeworth family when it was sold to a Mr. Noonan, who later donated the building to the Sisters of Mercy ca. 1947. It is now a nursing home.
