| Note: Outside a richly decorated gate, the three kings pay homage to the newborn Christ. They have come from all parts of the world to Bethlehem to worship the child and have brought precious gifts: gold, frankincense and myrrh. The old king, right, folds his hands in prayer. His expression seems especially devout. He has already given his gift. All the way to the left, the black king is filled with awe. He still has his gold; he is the last in line. | |

Links de vervallen muren van de stal, rechts het gevolg van de koningen. Als versieringen op de zuil van een poort: de droom van de schenker van Farao, de Tiburtijnse sibylle met keizer Augustus, de drie helden bieden koning David water uit de vijandelijke bron aan en de boom van Jesse. |
