Duca di Zagaròlo / ..; Printmaker active in Rome; The print depicts a crucifix carved in wood by Francesco Muzi and commissioned by Prince Camillo Rospigliosi for the Holy Week celebrations in Maccarese in 1768; In the foreground is shown a monumental depiction of the cross on the mount of Golgotha, adorned with the instruments of the Passion. In the background is featured a procession from the Palazzo di Maccarese, property of the Rospigliosi, to the church of Maccarese, with members of the procession carrying the cross; Mount numbered in black ink: 239 (crossed out) / 125; Forms part of the Collection of festival prints, 1530-1887 (Special Collections accn. no. P910002**). Publication: [1768].
