Note: Inscribed with captions identifying each apostle: BARTHOLOMEW / JAMES THE LESS / ANDREW / ..; Francis Kearny, an engraver and etcher in New York and Philadelphia, began to reproduce the print by Raffaello Morghen after Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper in 1830, a project which he completed in 1833 (cf. Palmerini, no. 180); An engraving after the Last Supper painted by Leonardo da Vinci in the refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie, Milan; Forms part of the Leo Steinberg collection of prints (Special Collections accn. no. 2000.PR.16).
