Note: Designed by Francesco Milizia, the ephemeral arch was erected near the Orti farnesiani in the Campo vaccino or Forum. The print shows a triumphal arch commissioned by King Ferdinando IV of Naples in honor of Pope Pius VI's taking possession of San Giovanni in Laterano on November 30, 1775. Forms part of the Collection of festival prints, 1530-1887 (Special Collections accn. no. P910002**). Publication: [1775].
