Note: Designed by Francesco Milizia, the ephemeral arch was erected near the Orti farnesiani in the Campo vaccino or Forum; Etcher from Faenza, who was also active in Rome; The print shows a triumphal arch commissioned by King Ferdinando IV of Naples in honor of Pope Pius VI's taking possession of San Giovanni in Laterano on November 30, 1775; Forms part of the Collection of festival prints, 1530-1887 (Special Collections accn. no. P910002**). Publication: In Roma : Nella calcografia della Rev. Cam. Aplica presso la Curia innocenziana, [1775] (34501/publishers).
