Note: The print depicts a fountain in the gardens of the château de Versailles, known as the Fontaine de la pointe du jour, or the Fountain of the dawn. The decorations feature bronze sculptures by Jacques Houzeau, smelted in the Keller workshop, that represent a tiger and a bloodhound felling a bear and a stag respectively. The basin is flanked by a statue of Water by Pierre Le Gros and one of Spring by Philippe Magnier; Forms part of the Collection of festival prints, 1530-1887 (Special Collections accn. no.
