Note: Inscription engraved on monument: VIXIT / ANNOS / LXX // DEVIXIT / ANNO / MDCLIX; Not identifiable with the print by G. B. Finazzi, titled Deposito di casa Pesaro eretto nella chiesa de Pp. de Frari, ill. in Longhena (Milan : Electa, 1982), no. 43.1; The engraving, trimmed within the plate mark and therefore possibly only a portion of a print, shows the lower part of Doge Giovanni Pesaro's sepulchral monument at the church of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari in Venice; The mausoleum, conceived by the architect Baldassare Longhena and sculpted by Melchior Barthel, Guillaume Courtois, Francesco Cavrioli, and Michel Fabris, displays four atlantes or telamones flanking an arch. Two winged figures of écorchés hold scrolls bearing engraved inscriptions; Width of plate mark: 48.5 cm; Forms part of the Collection of festival prints, 1530-1887 (Special Collections accn. no.
