Norimbergae : Sumptibus Christophori Riegelii, literis Knorzianis, anno M.DC.XCVI [1696]; The Dutch printmaker Willem Swidde was active in Amsterdam and Stockholm where he collaborated with the Swedish architect and draftsman Erik Jönsson Dalhberg; The print after Erik Jönsson Dalhberg shows the coronation ceremony of King Charles X Gustav of Sweden held on June 6, 1654 in the cathedral of Uppsala; The scene is enclosed within a simulated carved frame adorned with coats of arms, fruit garlands, and a scroll with captions numbered 1 to 11 listing the participants in the ceremony; Library has another impression of the etching bound in: De rebus a Carolo Gustavo Sveciae rege gestis commentariorum libri septem, liber I; Forms part of the Collection of festival prints, 1530-1887 (Special Collections accn. no.
