Note: Dated 1516 (cf. Bernini Pezzini); The engraving is possibly derived from a drawing by Raphael made specifically to be reproduced by Marcantonio Raimondi (cf. Bernini Pezzini). Based on the story of the Trojans in Virgil's Aeneid, it depicts the wrath of Neptune and his threat against the god of the winds: Quos ego ... At top is engraved a zodiac tondo; Forms part of the Leo Steinberg collection of prints (Special Collections accn. no. 2000.PR.16); Accompanied by Leo Steinberg's handwritten notes on post-it concerning bibliography, states of engraving and auction sales.
