Note: Roman architect, urban designer and etcher, who collaborated with the printer Giovanni Giacomo de' Rossi and his son Domenico de' Rossi; The print depicts the plan of the conclave summoned on October 9, 1700 upon the death of Innocent XII, which elected Cardinal Giovanni Francesco Albani as pope under the name of Clement XI on November 23, 1700; Dedicated to Prince Giulio Savelli of Albano, "custode del conclave", the etching features a tablet inscribed with the names of 66 cardinals and scenes of ceremonies related to the conclave; Forms part of the Collection of festival prints, 1530-1887 (Special Collections accn. no.
