Note: The print depicts a sculpted altarpiece of the Virgin Mary from the former monastery of Ognissanti in Siena, which was demolished in the early 19th century. The altarpiece had received a relic of Saint Nicolas of Bari, or Myra, in 1704 and was carried in a procession in 1774. A statue of Mary standing with the Christ Child lying in front of her, flanked by angels holding candelabra, appears before a curved colonnade that is topped by a crown; Glued on verso of a disbound album leaf; another print titled Supplicationibus in honorem d. Antonii Patavini is glued on recto of leaf; Forms part of the Collection of festival prints, 1530-1887 (Special Collections accn. no. P910002**). Publication: [ca. 1774].
