Ercole, 1690); Roman architect, urban designer, and etcher, who collaborated with the printer Giovanni Giacomo de' Rossi and with his son and heir Domenico de' Rossi; The print depicts the "apparati" erected in the Basilica of St. Peter's for the ceremony of the canonization of Juan de Dios, Lorenzo Giustiniani, Pascual Bailón, Juan de Sahagún, also known as Giovanni di San Facondo, and Giovanni da Capistrano; A dedication to Gareggia by Carlo Fontana, who designed the ephemeral decoration of the basilica, is inscribed in a roll in the lower center of the image; Forms part of the Collection of festival prints, 1530-1887 (Special Collections accn. no.
