Traveling with Fenton
Gordon Baldwin, associate curator of photographs, J. Paul Getty Museum, discusses his travels—both physical and mental—in the course of creating the exhibition All the Mighty World, visiting collections where Roger Fenton's work can now be found, traveling to places where it was made, and thinking about how it came into being. Seating reservations are required.

Talks are held at 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. in the Museum galleries. Sign up at the Museum Information Desk beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Photographer Douglas Busch states, "I am interested in presenting reality more accurately than I can actually see it. On one level, my work is about a certain density. There is more to see than we can actually see." Hear what he has to say about Fenton's photographs.
